Which part of Nassau are you in?
South Shore — Valley Stream, the Five Towns, Rockville Centre, Baldwin, Merrick, Long Beach. Salt air reaches well inland from the bays. Springs and the bottom of the cables rust first, so coated springs and nylon rollers pay for themselves here. After a storm surge, have the opener checked before you run it.
Central Nassau — Westbury, Franklin Square, Levittown, Hicksville. Many post-war homes still have their first or second door, and a lot of them run on extension springs along the tracks. When those wear out, it is often worth converting to a torsion spring over the door, which is safer and smoother.
North Shore — Great Neck, Roslyn, Syosset, Glen Cove. Wider double doors, carriage-house styles and heavier wood doors are common. Heavier doors need correctly sized springs and a stronger opener; a belt drive or a wall-mount opener keeps things quiet when there's a bedroom above the garage.

3. You get a written price before any work starts.
4. We fix it, test it, and program your remotes. Repairs carry a 3-year warranty.
We're closed for Shabbat and Jewish holidays; on Fridays we close 2 hours before Shabbat. After Shabbat and holidays end we answer the phone and help with urgent problems when a technician is available.
